All locations are equipped with a ton of TVs and offer large drink menus – including a special menu for shots. Karaoke takes place every Friday and Saturday night, adding to the fun – especially during slow games. The bar also has a huge dog-friendly patio with covered and open-air seating. Take a seat on one of the patio’s swings if you can find an unoccupied one – they’re great places to lounge to recap the game.
Drift
Drift is another Heights go-to for great drinks and huge screens. The establishment houses 50 TVs across the bar, and some of them are up to 249 inches! There’s simply nothing like watching a game on a TV like that. Just try to miss details. You can’t! Every foul and bad call from the ref will be crystal clear. Beyond being a fabulous place to watch sports, Drift offers some excellent beachy cocktails, beer, and wine. Food trucks also rotate through Drift’s lineup so visitors always have something new to try.
Patterson Park
Gear up for the game on Patterson Park’s patio. Enjoy a cocktail or two, some hard seltzer, or a glass of your favorite beer. Food trucks also stop at the bar to fuel hungry visitors, and the variety is pretty outstanding. Patrons love that the bar offers a variety of daily deals – with luck, maybe your team’s game will coincide with one that applies to you. In a commitment to improve the environment and to say “thank you” to those who take part in the endeavor, Patterson Park offers 10% off to all who travel there by bicycle – just something to keep in mind.
Ladybird’s
The feel-good vibes at Ladybird’s makes this bar an absolute gem. The family-owned establishment offers craft brews and cocktails, and it’s always a good time hanging out under the twinkling lights on the patio. During half-time, play a friendly game of pool or start up some songs on the jukebox. When hunger sets in, know that there is always a food truck nearby. Unlike some local spots, the patio at this establishment features a television so you can enjoy some fresh air while you watch your team score.
Lazybrook/Timbergrove
Cactus Cove Bar and Grill
The next time a game is on, call up your friends and tell them about Cactus Cove Bar and Grill. This restaurant has 10 TVs and a large projector to watch your favorite players on, and visitors can choose from 25 beers on tap. If you are celebrating game day with alcohol, be sure to try Cactus Cove’s famous frozen drinks.
Downtown
